Alex Website Automations

Websites for small and B2B businesses that earn the next conversation.

I'm Alex. I work on my own, remotely, with clients in Australia and overseas. I build the site, set up the enquiry forms and the follow-up behind them, and keep it current as the business changes.

A focused project is $500 to $700 AUD. The price is published because you should be able to work out whether to enquire before you enquire.

01 Services

Three things I do.

Most jobs are one of these, or the first two together. The third is optional and starts after the site is live.

01

Website design and build

Positioning, page structure, content hierarchy, and a design system that holds together across every page instead of drifting page by page.

  • Positioning
  • Page structure
  • Design system
  • Hand-written build
02

Website automation

Enquiry forms, routing, handoffs, quote flows and notifications, so an enquiry doesn't sit in an inbox waiting for someone to notice it.

  • Enquiry forms
  • Routing
  • Quote flows
  • Notifications
03

Ongoing improvement

Updates and iteration, keeping the site current with what the business actually offers now rather than what it offered at launch.

  • Updates
  • Iteration
  • Upkeep

Three projects. Real URLs. Nothing reconstructed.

02 The work

Two client sites you can open right now.

There are no traffic charts or conversion figures on this page, because I don't have client analytics I'm able to publish. What I have is the work itself.

Plate 01 1200 × 900
The Annergy Solar home page: a rooftop solar array at sunset behind the headline “Solar, by Brisbane locals”, with buttons to request a quote and estimate savings.
Annergy Solar Brisbane solar and battery installer. Eleven static pages. annergy.com.au
Plate 02 1200 × 900
The Driveway Mechanical home page: a dark layout with the headline “Wheels don't stop. Neither do we.” and a button to book a service.
Driveway Mechanical Mobile mechanic, The Rock NSW. Eight pages, booking flow. driveway-mechanical.netlify.app
01 Annergy Solar Eleven static pages covering services, pricing, FAQ and legal, with a contact and quote flow built around a free roof assessment and a fixed-price written quote within 48 hours. 02 Driveway Mechanical Eight pages, a service-area map and town list, and a booking flow. Built twice, as a light build and a darker Nexus build. 03 Client console An internal tool tracking leads, invoices and revenue across the Australian financial year. The automation side end to end, from enquiry capture through to invoicing.

03 How it works

How a project runs.

You know the scope and the price before I start, and you see the site on a live link before it goes anywhere public.

  1. Step 01

    You enquire

Tell me what the business does, who it sells to, and what the site has to do.

  2. Step 02

    I scope it and quote

Page count, what goes on each page, what's out of scope. You get the number before any work starts.

  3. Step 03

    I build it

Static HTML, hand-written CSS and a small amount of vanilla JavaScript. Self-hosted fonts. No npm dependencies to rot.

  4. Step 04

    You review it

You read it on a live link and mark up what's wrong or missing. I fix it.

  5. Step 05

    It goes live

Deployed to Netlify or Vercel. Upkeep is optional: when the business changes, the site changes with it.

I give you a turnaround when I quote, not before. It depends on the page count and on how much of the content is already written.

04

Published rate. No hourly billing.

04 Pricing

A focused project.

$500 — $700 AUD

The range is published because a price you have to ask for costs both of us time. Where a project sits inside it comes down to the page count and how much of the content already exists. You get the number before I start.

If the scope changes along the way, we talk about it before anything changes on the invoice. If what you need is bigger than a focused project, I'll say so rather than stretch a quote to fit.

  • Focused project $500 to $700 AUD, quoted in writing before work starts.
  • Ongoing improvement Separate and optional. Only starts once the site is live.

05 Questions

Asked before enquiring.

Q01Are you an agency?

No. One person, start to finish. You won't be handed to anyone.

Q02Do you work with businesses outside Australia?

Yes. I work remotely and take clients worldwide. Prices are quoted in AUD.

Q03What do you build it in?

Static HTML, hand-written CSS and a small amount of vanilla JavaScript, with no npm dependencies. Fonts are self-hosted, so there is no Google Fonts request on page load.

Q04Who hosts it?

Netlify or Vercel. I have used both, and the site is bought and registered in your own name wherever possible.

Q05How do the enquiry forms work?

The form posts to a small serverless function that validates the enquiry on the server, drops spam with a honeypot field, and emails it straight to you. If that endpoint is ever unavailable, the form falls back to opening your visitor's mail client with the enquiry already filled in, so nothing is lost.

06 Get started

Tell me what the site has to do.

Send me what the business does, who it sells to, and what you want a visitor to do when they land. A rough page list helps. A link to your current site helps more, if there is one.

I read every enquiry myself and write back with a scope and a price, or with an honest no if I'm not the right person for the job.
